About Us

Sure, my mom taught me how be useful in the kitchen, but I have to admit, there was no inspiration for baking in my family.  Bev, on the other hand, remembers her Grandpa Pete baking sweet confections as a pastry chef and her mom baking her famous homemade biscochitos every Christmas.  The fact of the matter is, SugarLush Cupcakes wasn't something that was derived from secret recipes being passed down from generation to generation. It actually began as an idea we got from a magazine cover at the grocery store checkout stand. :)  We would take that idea, throw in my rediscovered talent in art while including Bev's affinity for baking, and with that, we developed a passion to create these beautiful little cups of deliciousness you see today.


As a research scientist and an administrative professional by day, we would act as cupcake bakers/designers by night.  Surfing the internet and scouring through books, we spent many late night hours experimenting with a plethora of recipes.  Some worked out perfectly.  Others...not so much. A couple of tweaks here.  Some adjustments there.  And with that, we built a foundation of some beautifully, mouth-watering cupcakes.

 

Keep in mind, we bake our cupcakes from scratch incorporating fresh dairy, fresh fruits, quality chocolates and pure Madagascar bourbon vanilla that results in a cupcake that tastes extraordinary.  To top it all off, we have the ability to custom design your cupcakes to fit your visual flair.  If you haven't had the pleasure of eating a SugarLush cupcake, do yourself a huge favor and pleasure yourself!
